ArchPlug started with a simple frustration: too much time spent on repetitive BIM tasks, and not enough on actual design. The tools we needed either didn't exist, or were locked behind enterprise paywalls — so we started building them ourselves, one real project problem at a time.

There are three of us. That is the entire company: no departments, no outsourcing, no investors. What makes it possible is that we build with AI at every step — the plugins, the installers, the documentation, the tutorials, this website. That is not a buzzword on our side; it is simply how the work gets done, and it is what makes us different from a traditional software vendor.

Which means our real job is not typing code. It is designing the system: knowing, from years spent on site and in the design office, exactly where a project bleeds time; describing the solution precisely enough that it can be built; then testing every step inside Revit until the tool behaves the way an architect expects, not the way a programmer assumed. AI is fast, but it doesn't know which dimension the contractor will actually read on site, or what a floor plan has to look like when it goes in for approval. We do — and that part stays entirely on us.
