Terms of Service & License Agreement
Last updated: July 2026
Who You Are Buying From
ArchPlug is operated by ArchPlug DOO, a limited liability company registered in the Republic of Serbia (company reg. no. / MB 22315285, tax ID / PIB 115780969), Belgrade–Zvezdara, Serbia ("we", "us", "our"). Where a purchase is processed by Paddle as merchant of record, Paddle is the seller of record for that transaction and these terms apply to your use of the software.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using any plugin from ArchPlug, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and this License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use our software.
License Grant
Upon purchase or trial activation, ArchPlug grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the software on your own machine(s) for your personal or professional use.
- Paid licenses are per-user and tied to your ArchPlug account (email address). You may install the software on any number of your own machines, but the plugins may only be in active use on one machine at a time per account.
- Purchases are made through your ArchPlug account; downloads of your licensed plugins are available after logging in at archplug.com/account.
- Trial licenses are valid for 14 days from the date of installation and do not require an account.
- You may not resell, sublicense, or distribute the software to third parties.
Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, except to the extent such restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law
- Remove or modify any license notices or proprietary markings
- Use the software for any unlawful purpose
- Share your license key or trial access with others
14-Day Free Trial
The trial version is fully functional for 14 days. After the trial period expires, the software will cease to function until a valid license is purchased. No credit card is required to start a trial.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us within 30 days of purchase at support@archplug.com for a full refund, no questions asked.
Digital Delivery & EU Right of Withdrawal
Our software is digital content delivered immediately after purchase. If you are an EU consumer, by completing a purchase you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once the license is delivered. This does not affect our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee above, which gives you even more protection in practice.
Automatic Updates
ArchPlug keeps your plugins up to date on its own, so that a fix does not require you to re-install anything. A small background helper (a Windows scheduled task named ArchPlug Updater) is installed together with the plugins. It runs under your user account, also while Revit is closed, and downloads a new version when one is released for your account.
- Every update is verified before it is installed: it must be digitally signed by ArchPlug DOO and match the checksum published by our server. Anything that fails either check is discarded and nothing is changed on your computer.
- Only ArchPlug files are replaced. Your Revit installation, your projects and your settings are never touched, and nothing from your models is ever sent to us (see our Privacy Policy).
- A new version may change or remove features, and is provided under these same Terms.
- You can switch automatic updates off at any time: open ArchPlug Settings, clear the email field and click Save. The helper then stops immediately. Note that plugins also stop working without an account, as the licence is tied to it.
Error Reports & License Verification
The software periodically verifies your license against our server, and may — only with your consent — send anonymous error reports to help us fix bugs. Details of what is sent and how to turn it off are in our Privacy Policy.
AI-Assisted Features
Some ArchPlug products — in particular ArchPlug Agent — use a third-party large language model (Anthropic’s Claude) to interpret your instructions and carry out actions in your Revit model. You are interacting with an artificial intelligence system, not a human, and this is disclosed to you in the product interface.
- You are always in control. AI-assisted features only run when you explicitly start them, and any step in progress can be interrupted.
- Output may be wrong. AI-generated results are suggestions, not professional advice. They can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your project. You remain responsible for reviewing and verifying every change before relying on it for design, documentation, construction, permitting, or any other purpose.
- No professional guarantee. ArchPlug does not warrant that AI-generated output complies with any building code, standard, or regulation. The Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability sections below apply in full to AI-assisted features.
- Keep backups. As with any tool that modifies a model, save and back up your Revit files before running AI-assisted operations.
What is sent to the AI provider, and what is not, is described in our Privacy Policy.
Compatibility
Our plugins are designed to work with Autodesk Revit versions 2022 through 2027, on Windows. Autodesk Revit is not available for macOS, so there is no macOS version of our plugins. We do not guarantee compatibility with future Revit versions, though we make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use of the software is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArchPlug shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the software. This includes, without limitation, any loss of data, corruption or loss of Revit project files or models, loss of business profits, or business interruption, even if ArchPlug has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Updates & Upgrades
Plugin versions follow the MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH scheme. What your license includes:
- Minor and patch updates (x.Y.z) — bug fixes, stability improvements, smaller features and support for new Revit versions — are free for the lifetime of your license. Download them anytime from your account.
- Major versions (X.0) introduce substantial new functionality and are released as paid upgrades. Existing license holders are offered major upgrades at 50% off the full price. Your purchased version continues to work forever regardless, and receives critical fixes for 12 months after a new major version is released.
- If you purchase within 30 days before a new major version is released, you receive that major version at no extra charge.
- Monthly Access subscriptions include all updates — minor and major — for the plugin set covered by the subscription, for as long as the subscription is active. When the subscription ends, the plugins deactivate.
- Lifetime Bundle purchases cover the plugin versions available on the site at the time of purchase, with free minor/patch updates forever; major upgrades are offered per plugin at 50% off. The bundle does not include plugins released after the purchase.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. If you are a consumer in the EU, you additionally retain any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence; nothing in these terms limits those rights.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
